Child Protection

I believe that there is clear evidence that children are suffering PAS due to intervention of Child Protection Services in families in South Dakota. Many of these families who have had their children removed have gone to the "system" for help or services then end up having them removed from the home. They are then placed in foster care or residential group homes. The parents are drug through the judicial system defending themselves against allegations of abuse, where no abuse exisits. The children have their contact, calls and mail monitored. They are told their parents are going to lose their parental rights when there has been no evidence or court order to that affect, etc. Parents are being told what they can and cannot say to children. You cannot pray with your child, talk about things that are going on in the home or with the family, etc. They tell the children that this is the fault of the parents that this is happening and so forth. There is no oversight or anyone that CPS has to answer to, so this continues! Anyone out there that has information that may be helpful to us in addressing this please contact me at
[phone number removed]. I do not believe PAS just involves parents. The system is also guilty of the critertia that defines PAS!

I agree, Child Protective Services also engage in Parental Alienation, and I would also like any suggestion on how to deal with this.

I also agree. CPS can & does contribute to alienation. I wonder if they side w/the alienating parent due to the manipulation abilities the parent has mastered. I feel like that parent MUST have some type of diagnosable mental/personsality disorder for them to even concieve of emotionally abusing their kids. CPS should have both parents eval'd extensively as well as the kids. My SD lied to CPS but told the truth to her therapist. Its cruel for the parent to do this but its even more cruel for the Gov Agency in place to "protect" kids is actually contributing to and prolonging their abuse. It truely is hell on earth these days.

was it 4 white feathers that symbolized a coward?? maybe it will help if we come up with a bumper sticker. Retaliate? well, I did arrange sliced ham on the jackasse's windshield once, and I laughed so hard, I almost expired. Worth every slice, and the kids called that day. Absurd, this alienation crime. A bill to criminalize the deed? A rag-tag outfit of activists? A special prayer, too. Now preparing the sliced cheese for his a.m. windshield surprise. For the 4 white feathers. Shame on these under-developed morons.!!!

AS AN ALIENATED MOM WHO WAS SKEWERED BY D.C."PROTECTIVE" SERVICES, I GET THE FACTS. ALL WE HAVE IS COVERT ACTS. ALL THE MORE REASON TO UNITE IN AN ACTIVIST, PROTECTIVE FASHION. REMEMBER, THE MEDIA ELECTS THE PREZ AND CAN PAY ATTENTION TO THIS JUST AS WELL AS IT CAN TO OVERSEAS HUMAN RIGHTS ABUSE. LET'S CLASSIFY IT AS THAT. AGREED? "THE SYSTEM ASSISTS THE CRIMES OF HATE AGAINST EXILED PARENTS...etc. good
luck. (Last changed: February 26, 2006)
