My friend's wife (they are now separated and are going through a divorce) does not let him see his kids. Since their separation, he has been visiting the kids in their home, with the mother present, he has faithfully seen his kids twice a week. Now that the divorce procedings are going through, she now makes it a point to not have anyone at home when he goes to visit on these days. Are there any legal means for him to make it so he can see his kids? Right now, money is tight for him, so legal means may be too expensive. What rights does he have under the law?

Your handling of situation sounds just like ours. We react the same way, always honest and w/o denegrating mom. My husband and I have been dealing w/his ex for 8 yrs. Every 3 years, 2nd time now, she takes him to court. Final Trial was 9/21. GAL recommended Dad retain custody of son & custody of daughter be transferred from mom to dad. We're still waiting on the final judgment. The son sees right through mom now and is coping w/visits. The daughter is anxious to live with dad. Mom has had their son (who we have custody of since 2000) report abuse twice and their daughter report sex abuse twice, all unsubstantiated and reported during this custody litigation which has been going on since 2001! We just keep working with the kids day by day. They'll know mom as who she is and what she's done in time & we'll help them deal with the realization of all of this the rest of our lives. My question is this: At What Point Does The Manipulation By The Alienating Parent Become Emotional Abuse in the eyes of DCFS & When does the prosecutor decide to press charges against mom for filing false reports?

I say this because my poor dillisional friend, you are in the "fog" stage I was. I actually asked CPS to be involved (I won't go into the HORROR of CASA "Court Annointed Childhood Assasins- more commonly reffered to a Court Appointed Childrens Advocates of which my Liberal Sister was one YET, found so repunant that after working for a year to train with and become an evaluator- left CASA because of their Governmental desicration of families- esp Dads & kids) There is no incentive in FACT there is great DIS-insentive for ANY Governmental branch- CPS & the courts and ALL of the peripharey "evaluation" groups involved. They lose funding if the "recognize" a problem in a female. Just do your research and you'll see it is painfully clear that their lively hoods depend on them opposing Dads AT ALL COSTS. At All Costs here means- THEIR childrens "roof, schools and freinds" depends on your children losing theirs, plain and simple. So they can decry mens groups bias' all they want- every bit of research coming out from the independents and the states warrants a crushing of our judiciary and CPS as they exist. Heck it has for 10 years, but certain "non male centered groups" and their supporters have held reform at bay. CHANGE WILL ONLY HAPPENS if YOU & I hold these racketeers up to public scrutiny and shame. If you and I won't hold them accountable- who shall?
