Sorry to tell you this but THERE IS NO MICHIGAN LAW - period. You are at the mercy of your county friend of the court. Oh sure, you can file a petition in court, but if it looks like the judge will have to rule in your favor, then he/she will refer your case to friend of the court for "mediation". In other words, you are right but screw you anyway. California is just as bad in its own way. Now for the good news. You are not helpless. Get a few close friends and family together and start the anonymous phone calls. Never call yourself, but have your friends and family call the schools, the county, catholic social services -- anyone EXCEPT friend of the court. Tell them the kids are not properly fed, are dirty, are left home alone, the home is not sanitary... etc. Michigan takes kids at the drop of a hat. It is much easier to get kids out of foster care than from an obsessed alienator. Dirty pool? NO! There IS real abuse going on and the kids NEED to be removed from the home. Nobody can deny that. The reasons and methods are not important. This is a bonafide emergency! Just make sure that when you get them back, you do not start to alienate your ex in retaliation. My husband and I are going through almost the exact same think as you. I am doing alot of research on the subject I do know there were several cases that allowed pas in one in michigan. The problem is it isn't in the DMV book yet so some judges won't allow it. If they do the prefered treatment is to keep the children away from the alienating parent until their therapy is complete. I will let you know if we get anywhere we have a case tuesday. My stepdaughter has gone so far now as to claim everyone on my husbands side of the family molested her. even though they were kids these people she was four they were 5 she has a therapist wrapped around her finger too won't speak to us either and she went as far as to send a letter to the court that my husband should not have visitation or contact at any time.
